THE ROUTE

The hills of Susegana and Collalto, with their medieval strongholds and boundless expanses of vineyards, represent one of the most enchanting and evocative areas of the Marca Trevigiana: it will therefore be a pleasure to cycle through this territory, between dirt roads and never demanding ups and downs.

It starts from Susegana and immediately reaches the Castle of San Salvatore, one of the most beautiful, majestic and important in Italy, then continuing through the Prosecco vineyards and over the hills near Colle della Tombola; the pleasant Strada del Collalto then leads to the castle of the same name, to be explored on the fun single track along the walls before the rapid descent to Barbisano.

The northernmost part of the itinerary instead includes two climbs immersed in the vineyards interspersed with a treacherous wet stretch in the Bosco di Lierza, while the long descent from Colle San Dagoberto and the transfer to Crevada where you can stop for a wine tasting at Astoria Vini right on the Street .

A few kilometers lead back to Susegana, where a final scenic stretch allows you to explore the easternmost hills of the Collalto.

START POINT: Susegana,  San Salvatore street.
